I haven't been to this site for a while myself, but maybe I should be a bit more active in it again.  It is a worthy thing, and a nice community!  This shows some of my older stuff... some paintings, mostly pencil, some ink.  :)

It's Coming! An update on the imminent book...

The new book is almost done. When I look back, from when I started this strip, it has been about 2 years in the making. The final fixes and rereads are done. So many times I was soooo close to being done, then more more issues found that needed to be dealt with. Tedious, but an inevitable part of the work of finishing something for real, not just for the sake of trying to be "done".

Will it be perfect? Nah. But it will be a book that I can feel good about, and not feel like "if only I'd fixed that one thing..."

Working on the book!

Just for anyone who may wonder why I haven't posted any strips for a while - I am working on a book project, the first Big Time Animation Studio book! It is a lot of work and learning curve, but it will be well worth it. See you all soon!

I drew this slightly scary looking dude starting as a Santa drawing somewhat inspired by Thomas Nast. Now, I'm not sure this is really Santa, but I'm sure he's a very sweet guy underneath that rough exterior.
