The new book is almost done. When I look back, from when I started this strip, it has been about 2 years in the making. The final fixes and rereads are done. So many times I was soooo close to being done, then more more issues found that needed to be dealt with. Tedious, but an inevitable part of the work of finishing something for real, not just for the sake of trying to be "done".
Will it be perfect? Nah. But it will be a book that I can feel good about, and not feel like "if only I'd fixed that one thing..."
